There is exciting news for fans eagerly anticipating developments in the Grand Theft Auto franchise. The renowned developer has finally shared some updates. However, it's worth noting that this announcement pertains to a title that initially launched more than a decade ago.
The forthcoming patch for Grand Theft Auto V will specifically be for the PC version and will primarily focus on enhancing performance and technical aspects. These enhancements were previously introduced in the versions for PS5 and Xbox Series X/S when they were launched.
Soon, PC gamers will receive a complimentary update that will feature a variety of improvements, including:
- Enhanced graphics and resolution settings
- Quicker loading times
- Ray-Tracing support
- AMD FSR and Nvidia DLSS support
- Dolby Atmos integration
- New animal encounters
- Additional vehicles and modifications
- A revamped landing page
- GTA+ Membership access
- A Career Progress section
- Possibility to initiate a career and purchase properties and items for better financial management
Alongside the improvements in gameplay, participants are able to look forward to upgraded anti-cheat mechanisms and specialized voice chat moderation systems. A one-time character migration tool will also be available, allowing players to transfer their stories and online achievements to this upgraded edition of the game.
All these enhancements will be rolled out to Grand Theft Auto V on PC through a complimentary update, scheduled for release on March 4.
